So a few of us decided to throw Ainel a surprise birthday dinner
Went through so much of trouble organizing, getting people. the place
Transport, and stuff like that...
Its been a while since I last organize something, and Im kinda rusty... :P

Izat found a place at Look Out Point in Cheras
Wait, is it Cheras, or Hulu Langat?
Its kinda in the middle of everything actually.

Cost RM40 per head,
Food turned out ok.
I must say its really regular food though, nothing special
The only thing to look forward there is the gorgeous view...
Literally the entire city is visible from that point.
Totally reccommend checking it out
So worth the long drive up there

Was so busy with the details,
the itsy bitsy stuff u have to make sure goes alrite when ur there
Till i totally forgot to take pics...
Oh well... Nth much to blog about then.. :P

MTV recently announced the remaining acts who will be making an appearence....
Things just cant get any better Im telling u... :P

So 1st of all...
We got a UK breakout artiste
Honestly, I havent heard of her before this (maybe coz I dun listen to radio much)
But I checked out her song on9.
And its pretty good...

18 year old Pixie Lott
Looking forward to her performance

Moving on, (this is where it gets juicier...)
We have a band whose album I really really love..
Like every single song..
From "Thunder" to "The Great Escape" to "Holiday"

Boys Like Girls baby!!!!

And these guys...
Its really about time they come play in our small little South East Asian country...
Wait, I honestly have no idea if they ever came here before..
Anyways...

Hoobastank is making an appearence as well...
I've heard some pretty negative thoughts about their latest album....
But I'm still staying positive
After all, they are the ones who brought us hits like
"The Reason" and "Crawling In The Dark"

3 big bands coming over...
Its so gonna go down as the gig of the year..
Really looking forward to it

My only regret,
This may be 1 of the biggest gig Im gonna be attending
And my music buddy aint gonna be there with me this time

A few days ago, Izat, Martin n myself went on an adventure together...
Well, not exactly adventure ler.. Just that...
We took Izat's car all the way to Segambut only to leave it at the workshop there..
And we totally never planned how to get back..

After some time walking, we found a cab,
Got in, told the guy to drive us to the nearest train station.
Thought it wud be EXTREMELY far away,
Only to find out later that the trip only cost us RM3. Imagine how "far" was it.. -.-''

Took the KTM all the way back to Subang, and then a bus to Pyramid...
That's it..
Ok la.. So it wasnt really an adventure...
But it felt like it coz when we were in Segambut, we had no idea wat to do and how to get there, wherever that is....

So at pyramid, we watched Public Enemies...
And later that nite, I went with my dad to Cineleisure to catch a special preview of Taking Pelham 123

Both movies were awesome.. Totally reccommend them...
Johnny Depp and John Trovolta's acting.. Totally awesome!!!

And Johnny Depp does look a little bit like the real John Dillinger... :P

MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia!!!
Next gig on the list...
Stumbled upon it in the papers one day
Straight away rushed out to get the tickets

Its gonna be my 2nd MTV event!!! So looking forward to it..

Its all going down on the 15th of August
At Sunway Lagoon 5pm onwards...

All American Rejects!!!
They're the main reason im so looking forward to the gig anyways... XD

Woke up 1 morning and my mom came rushing into my room...
Shoved me 6 VIP tickets to the innagural Shout! Awards
which is happening the day after..

Went through so much of problems trying to get people to come..
Since its so last minute...
In the end, only Izat & me went for the thing....

Over there we met Zarifah with her friends
So the remaining 4 tickets didnt go to waste
Thank God... :D

Mega sales is here.. And I got so many things to buy!!!
Only lacking the greens to do so... ARGH!!!

Stuff on my list :

1. A decent multi purpose jacket
2. A new wallet
3. More shirts and t shirts
4. More accessories
5. A new belt. And a good one to last me.
6. Sport jerseys... Gotta start hitting the gym again.
7. A decent pair of sports shoes... To replace the one im currently using... BATA.
8. A cheap fragrance to replace the one im currently using everyday...

Gosh.. Where am I gonna get the money for all those stuff..

On another note,
Since its the holidays,
Should I keep my hair longer and mess around with it?
Maybe a new colour? :P

Long due Genting post

This post has been due a week edi...
I'll try to keep it short...
So last week, to celebrate the end of semester, as well as Dana's birthday..
We decided to go up to Genting for a day's trip...
It was totally spontaneous, really
We went to Jusmin's place on Sunday nite to celebrate her birthday
And before heading back to Subang, we met up with Dana and Ainel at Cyberia
And there itself we decided to go up to Genting the next day.
Plan finalized at 3am, we left at 8am... :P

So Izat & me met up and we took a bus to KTM and then the train to KL Sentral to meet up with the rest
Got there and Bassam and the girls were edi there
Took another train to Gombak and took a cab up, since we had to wait long for the next bus that is available.

So, we got up there, had lunch and head towards the theme park...
Usual stuff, going on rides...
But this time I tried a few i never dared to before this.. :P

Soon after we're done with the theme park, Robin arrived after work.
We then chilled for a bit at Starbucks and then move on to dinner at Old Town.
After that, we head off to Ripley's and the Haunted House...
Spent quite some time there, had so much of fun...
Especially the Haunted House part,
Seeing Robin jumping and screaming like a 5 year old was just priceless.. :P

So as the day closes to an end, we have to decide if we're spending the nite up there
The girls looks totally exhausted, and Robin had to leave...
So, since there was only 1 car, Izat & me decided to stay back
and take the first morning bus home...
Bassam, Robin and the girls left in Rob's car...

Just for fun, Izat & myself decided not to get a hotel room,
To see if we can stand without one,
and also to save up on cash... Since we've already spent so much...
We ended up spending the nite at random places around Genting,
Even managed to catch Terminator Salvation, midnight movie...
And we took the morning bus home...
Came back, totally exhausted, crashed on my bed right away... XD

Everyone's leaving on a jet plane... Officially hate that song..
