Had a little problem with my external drive last nite..
For some reason the disk got corrupted... Haihz..
And, no, i dun have porn in it... Im not tat dumb...

I had backup of my pictures and music in it...
And all my videos including movies... Transferred it all into the external drive...
To save space on my laptop's amazing 50gb hard drive...

So, i thought there must be some way to recover the lost data wan rite?
They're all still in the hard drive...
Just that I can't open it...

So i thought of bringing it over to summit,
Since its like the IT hub of Subang..
There's bound to be someone who's able to handle it rite?
But then I found the original box n receipt n i noticed its still under warranty...
So, thinking I cud save a few bucks,
I brought it back to Pyramid... Place where I bought it...

Brought it there, showed it to the guy behind the counter...
Told him wats the problem..
Asked if the data can be recovered...
He passed it over to another guy....

The guy started opening up the casing, took the driver out..
Plug it in to some adapter...
Ran some tests on the pc...
I thought he was trying to like get the files out or something.. RITE???
So i was happily chit chatting with Martin, who came with me.. (went to JPN to get our ICs done earlier)

After about 10 minutes, he came back, put it into the casing...

"Oh, its a virus problem... Nvm, now ok edi.. Format edi...."

U know how dying ppl see their life flash through their eyes right before they die?
At that moment, I saw everything that was inside the hard drive... flash right before my eyes...
My movies, music, pictures...
TV Series..
Everything...
All 100GB of it...


Im never going back to tat shop ever again....
