Bittersweet Symphony

'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life
Trying to make ends meet
You're a slave to money then you die
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the places
where all the veins meet yeah
No change, I can't change
I can't change, I can't change
But I'm here in my mind
I am here in my mind
But I'm a million different people
from one day to the next
I can't change my mind
No, no, no, no, no, no, no,no,no,no,no,no!!!
Well I never pray
But tonight I'm on my knees yeah
I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me, yeah
I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now
But the airways are clean and there's nobody singing to me now
No change, I can't change
I can't change, I can't change
But I'm here in my mind
I am here in my mind
And I'm a million different people
from one day to the next
I can't change my mind
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
I can't change
I can't change it
'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life
Trying to make ends meet
Trying to find some money then you die
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the places
where all the veins meet yeah
You know I can't change, I can't change
I can't change, I can't change
But I'm here in my mind
I am here in my mind
And I'm a million different people
from one day to the next
I can't change my mind
No, no, no, no, no
I can't change my mind
no, no, no, no, no,
I can't change
Can't change my body,
no, no, no
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
Ever been down
That you've ever been down
That you've ever been down

Haihz.. Its been a dramatic and chaotic week honestly...
Loads of stuff to think about.. To decide....Wish that all these could just go away...
Wish things would be simpler...Anyways, no point in lingering in those stuff..
Figured I should look upon the bright side of life...So,
Last Saturday, Fadil and me decided to go to KL, to get some stuff..
We both needed a webcam, and I needed a reference book for Operations Management..And I needed to meet Milcah to get the stuff she bought for me..In the end, Fadil, Gaby, Amy and myself went together down to KL...1st stop was Low Yat.. To get our webcams...
Met Milcah there with Dino, hang out for a while, got my stuff, then we proceeded to get our webcams...
After that, we crossed the road over to Times Square to walk around..
Checked Borders for my book, and surprisingly I couldnt find..
Typed in Operations Management into their pc, not a single result...And its Borders... -.-''Anyways, Fadil went on to call Ahmad... He's on a 2 weeks vacation from Saudi..
Staying in Times Square... How fun is tat? XDAccording to him, he's been out at Bukit Bintang a lot, and most of the time he would just pop over the Pavilion for a late nite movie..
Now THATS life!!! :PWe went on to the arcade after that,
the original plan was to catch a midnight movie before we head home..Therefore, we needed some place to kill time before the guys can break their fast and later on movie at Pavilion...
(but plans changed later though... :P)So we spent like a few hours in the arcade...
Then we head on to Marrybrown to have dinner...
And for the guys (Fadil & Ahmad to break fast)
Love the seats at Marrybrown.. :DFadil & Gaby... All smiles.. :P
Amy & Me... Trying to prove a point.. Serious-nya... Ahmad!!!! :D
Moving on...
Amy received an sms and tats when everything changed...
Her friend ajak-ed her to club at Euphoria...
Could tell she was hyped up about it... :P
The best part is,
I was also invited... XD
Euphoria!!!!
I was like.. "AhhhhhhhH!!!! Finally get to experience Euphoria!!!" XD
Well, not exactly invited, but she needed someone to drive her home..
U still owe me for tat!!!
So we had to cancel the movie plans, coz it was edi almost 10...
And we had to be there at 11...
And still, we have to go back to Cyber to get ready...
So we rushed off...
Got a little lost trying to get on the KL-Putrajaya highway..
But we made it though..
Thank God for that highway!!!!
Took us less than an hour to get back...
So we dropped Fadil & Gaby off at desa,
I went up to grab my outfit, and we left for Amy's place...
She got back, took her bath n everything, I changed there..
And we took off...
Oh, btw, Cyberia homes are awesome!!!
Unlike desa... Gotta move soon...
So we got there around 1140 i think?
Had a little complications at the entrance, aparently the guest list was edi full for the name we were under...
Amy called her friend down, and everything was settled somehow...
Didnt manage to take that many pictures inside though...
Just had a few...
And credits to CanCan for the photos.. :D
Me, Amy and CanCan
Me & Amy.. Nope, she's still sober... Oh yah, 1 thing i seriously looooooooooooooooove about Euphoria...
Its smoke-free in the main room!!!They had people going around, warning anyone who smokes...
Which was awesome, coz 1 of the things i cant stand abt clubs is the smoke...They had smoke machines though...
Which has the smoky effect, without the irritating smell.... XD
Oooooo!!! Another thing..
The dance floor actually vibrates!!! XDActually I had no idea, I onli knew when KarMern told me the next day.. :P
Amy felt it though...
The only thing I cant take about Euphoria...The overpriced drinks...
RM400 for a single bottle of Chivas!!!!But after sharing it out, each person's share came up to onli abt RM55...
So, it was okay i guess...
Wish I took more photos inside the club...
It was just awesome!!!Guess I'll end the post with this

Perfect timing.. Just perfect

Not much of a choice.
Taking a step back,
I guess I shud've done it earlier
Before I did all these damage.
Too late now
Im sorry for everything I've done
Im sorry for intruding
I dont belong there in the first place.
Pain never felt this good...
Never...
Runaway Train - Soul Asylum
Call you up in the middle of the night
Like a firefly without a light
You were there like a slow torch burning
I was a key that could use a little turning
So tired that I couldn't even sleep
So many secrets I couldn't keep
Promised myself I wouldn't weep
One more promise I couldn't keep
It seems no one can help me now
I'm in too deep
There's no way out
This time I have really led myself astray
Runaway train never going back
Wrong way on a one way track
Seems like I should be getting somewhere
Somehow I'm neither here no there
Can you help me remember how to smile
Make it somehow all seem worthwhile
How on earth did I get so jaded
Life's mystery seems so faded
I can go where no one else can go
I know what no one else knows
Here I am just drownin' in the rain
With a ticket for a runaway train
Everything is cut and dry
Day and night, earth and sky
Somehow I just don't believe it
Bought a ticket for a runaway train
Like a madman laughin' at the rain
Little out of touch, little insane
Just easier than dealing with the pain
Runaway train never comin' back
Runaway train tearin' up the track
Runaway train burnin' in my veins
Runaway but it always seems the same
Memorable nite out.

Don't Wait - Dashboard Confessional
Thursday, September 4, 2008
The sky glows
I see it shining when my eyes close
I hear your warnings but we both know
I'm gonna look at it again
Don't wait, Don't wait
The road is now a sudden sea
And suddenly, you're deep enough
To lay your armor down
You get one look
I'll show you something that the knife took.
A bit to early for my own good
Now let's not speak of it again
Don't wait, Don't wait
The road is now a sudden sea
And suddenly, you're deep enough
To lay your armor down
Don't wait, Don't wait
The lights will flash and fade away
The days will pass you by
Don't wait
To lay your armor down
Show me the way...

I always ask myself...And surprisingly, I get different answers every single time..
I recently read an article from Time Out about a band called
Silent SceneryIt really hit me coz of the fact that
I've been complaining about not having a parmanent band that i can really rely on...And now, I read this article saying that this guy started off an acoustic project (that he named
"Silent Scenery") and then move on to forming this band with his friends later on...
Its not really the typical boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets back girl...
Ooopppss... wrong story there..I meant, its not the typical guy forming a band with his high school friends, wrote a few songs, try out a few auditions, played a few gigs and became the next big indie band...
He started off with a guitar, some song writing skills, a laptop with a built-in mic..And his musical jouney began... (abstract directly from the mag)
He started performing alone, sometimes with friends..
And after some time, he just decided to start forming a band...
Best part is, the main core members of the original band actually left one by one..Leaving Kit, the guy who actually formed the band... and the lead guitarist...
As time pass, the line-up went through a few changes, and now they are only missing a bassist, which they would opt for session musicians for the time being...
Even so, they still made it, and now they've come up with their debut album "When We Escape From The Moonlight".
And all of these started with a single guy, with nothing but a guitar and a laptop...Visit the band's official
blog for more details...
Life is so bloody insignificant...
Im so contemplating suicide...Stupid hormones!!!
