Just came back from watching Dark Knight with the gang..
It was awesome i tell you!!!
Should not miss this movie...

Till now i have yet to lay my hands on all the genting pics..

Sunday we celebrated po po's birthday in kl...
Jalan Imbi to be precise... There was some vegetarian restaurant that one of my mom's kid's parents recommended...
Err... I meant kid tat my mom babysits...
Almost sent the wrong msg there.. XD

The place is called Pure Mind...
At first, it sounded like some spa to me..
Wait, even in the picture above, it does look like some spa or something.. XD

There's the menu...
Honestly, i was never really a fan of vegetarian food..
Or rather, i havent really sat down for a complete vegetarian meal..

Anyways,

Things started off with the usual 5 dish platter...
Pic up there is wats left of it actually...
Forgot to take a pic in the beginning..
But the best dish of the 5, i wud say is the cha siew... or wtv u call them...
Vegetarian cha siew.. i think...
Its made out of flour.. But i tell u...
It tasted EXACTLY like the real thing!!!
These chefs are real geniuses!!!

Second dish was a bowl of herbal soup...
Had no idea wat was in the soup..
Everything looked akar-ish... N expensive..
So, i just drank the whole thing without questioning..

Omigosh!!!
The 3rd dish was like the best of all!!!
Its called "Fried Vegetarian Steak With Sweet Black Soy Sauce"
Again, made out of flour...
But, o boy.....

The texture...
The sweetness...
The garing-ness... (*sry)

Its juz amazing how its made...
It made me sooooooooooooooo lost for words..
Seriously, the entire thing may look simple..
But its ever soooooooooooo good...
Trust me..

Anyways, after the 3rd dish, i was edi lazy to take more pictures...
I was too busy eating.. haha..
But, after tat, the following dishes were not tat interesting..
Braise tofu, Fried lotus root, pumpkin & yam, mixed veggie and fried rice...
Sounds boring right?

Started off with a bang...
Then everything was downhill from there...

Interesting arrangement..

And now, to the main event...

A simple cake bought by Kiu Niong...
And Ah Q...

Yestetrday we had a farewell gathering for Rooben..
Who will be flying to the States... San Francisco actually...
To study Engineering.. (lucky sucker...)

So, yeah..
It was like a group of 8..

& Me

Highlights of the night...
Hmm...
We dedicated a song to Rooben...
There was a live unplugged performer on stage...
So we requested for Mariah Carey's Bye Bye..
Instead, they played us Air Supply's Goodbye..

Well, at least the word Goodbye is there..
Juz ignore the entire meaning behind the song.. :P

Oh yah!!!
Christine actually finished her food!!!!
Its really a miracle!!!
Although it took her all the way till the moment we stood up, getting ready to leave...
Well, the fact is tat she actually did..
We're so proud of u Christine!!! XD

Hema & I ordered a cup of xtra cold Carlsberg...
Tasted okay..
Its waaaaaaaaayyy better xtra cold..
Only then we knew tat Christine & KarMern would never allow us to drink so much again... :P

I look weird...

Hmmmm.. How long has it been?
Think i knew this sucker for like... more than 10 years..
How time flies eh...

A tale of a boy and his maggi

Once upon a time.. There was a boy...
An simple, ordinary boy, with an ordinary stomach..
Which normally don't growl like 2 in the morning...

On that particular day, that boy was feeling a little hungry... In the middle of the night..
While he was on his laptop, minding his own business...
One of the boy's awesome friend decided to fill him in on every edible items she had lying around the house...
From bread and butter to mini mantau and hash brown..

Boy starts to get hungry...

So that poor little boy decided to go down to cook a plate of indomee...

Which to his horor, his house was out of INDOMEEE!!!!

So, the poor little boy had to improvise, coz he was really really craving for nothing but dry and dark indomee...

Somehow, out of nowhere, the boy found a complete set of indomee perencah packets..

The boy had an idea......

It was the only way the boy could have his indomee.... To steal the noodles from another packet of maggi...

Minutes later... To his horror again, the boy thought his mom threw away the sacred maggi pot used specially by the boy's family to cook nothing BUT maggi...

Again, the boy had to improvise...

It was either the non-stick frying wok, or the stainless steel steamer-cum-wok

Since it would'nt make any difference, the boy started cooking using the non-stick wok...

In the end, the boy finally managed to cook the plate of indomee....

Well... improvised indomee...

Just when he thought everything went relatively okay,

the boy took his plate and started leaving the kitchen for his room to start to enjoy the scrumptious plate of improvised indomee he came up with...

Only to his horror again....

The boy spotted the sacred maggi pot used specially by the boy's family to cook nothing BUT maggi....

Under the sink...

The boy vows never again to step foot in the kitchen at 2 in the morning...

The End....

Btw, do perencah's have expiry date?

So, here I go...

I just love travelling around using public transportation...
Get to see all kinds of people...
From different backgrounds, different worlds..
Kinda like looking at the world from different perspectives...

Went to KL 2 days ago to pass my grandpa his medication..
Decided to meeet up with Willy after that, and we went downtown to walk around...
Went to Bukit Bintang to walk around.. Dropped by at Chambers Music in Sg. Wang, the old guitar shop near Mydin and the all famous Bentley Music...
Tried a Takamine acoustic there... 1 of the lower end model... Didnt sound tat good though.. It was really dissapointing...
Now im really thinking what should I get when I have the money for a new acoustic...

We had lunch in Petaling Street...

We were at Petaling Street around 1 in the noon...
I knew there were loads of nice food all around Petaling Street..
But I had no idea where to eat 1 in the afternoon...
I knew there was this famous Hokkien Mee near all the BBQ shops...
There's the all time favourite Koon Kee wan tan mee also nearby...
But they only open at night...
So in the end, we juz sat down at this small Chee Cheong Fun stall outside Popular...

It was simple budget food..
But, boy was it good!!!

Lunch tat day only cost me Rm4.50... Drink included...
I had mee + mihun with 2 pieces of fu chok...
With curry instead of the black sauce..

Wish i cud get this kinda food in Cyberjaya...

So anyways, last week was reli reli RELI tiring...
Right after Genting, came back, rest a day the nex day we went for badminton edi..
Damn!!! I dint know LayBoon can play tat well!!!
Thank God for Noel, or else i would've got my ass whooped... haha..
So anyways, Hema n LayBoon challenged me & Noel to a match...
Best of 5... And yea,...
Of coz the guys won.. Still wanna ask? tsk tsk...
We allowed them to win the first 2 sets... Keep their hopes up high..
Then we moved up to win the next 3 sets...
I mean, tats the way to win rite? :P

Too bad i was too busy playing, didnt reli get to go around snapping pics....
At times like these, u can always count on a girl who brings a camera wherever she goes...

Have you ever wondered how life will be just by re-living a few critical moments in your life?
Or re-doing certain things tat u regret in the past...
Or even going back in time just to push yourself to talk to that special someone...
Yes, I believe we all do....

It may be dumb, but as I look back...
I kinda think to myself..
What will happen if I just had the courage to walk up and talk to that hot chick back in high school..
Whether or not we get to build a relationship (regardless if its pure friendship or something else)
Is a totally different story...
At least I would've tried...
At least I would know the results today...

I have regrets, plenty of them...
Be it girls, friendships, studies, sports, everything...
I mean, who doesn't?
Right?

My only regret is that till today,
I've learnt much from those mistakes,
but I've yet to change my course of actions in the present...
Why? Why? Why?

Taking off in less than 8 hours...
I gotta break free from this shell of mine...
I dun wanna add to my regrets in the future...

Street performers performing some traditional tribal music? I guess... Kinda forgot wat kinda music it was...
Caught it like a month back in the streets of BB...
So gonna go back there 1 day with Gaby and the rest just to sit and enjoy the performances...

Till today still have yet to watch Kung Fu Panda..
Haihz haihz...
