Last weekend was a blast!!!
Well.. at least for Saturday it was... Coz of the Monash Carnival... And the movie...
Sunday it was juz waking up, getting dressed, going down to kl, coming back, n going back to my hostel...
Saturday started off by me waking up around 12.. as usual.. weekends, harap maklum ler..
went down, fetched mom to taipan to get lunch, came back, ate, and had to get ready to go...
Thank God my dad allowed me to take the car.. the plan was for me to drive to Monash have fun, come back n pick them up to pyramid.. Boy, everything totally changed.. haha..
My first stop was the car wash.. The day before we went to AC with my uncle's family, my dad pandai pandai went n park under a tree.. He was like sooooo happy when he found the parking spot.. Came back after dinner, we had new vynils on the car.. FOC... Darn birds!!! If onli their poop were black in colour, people wud think my dad actually changed to a carbon fibre hood..
Yea, Gaby, maybe we shud try our way to handling the situation.. :P
So went to the car wash, got it washed n vacuumed... Drove off to usj18... Had trouble at first trying to find kaysim's place.. totally lost direction when im driving.. Worse still, all the way from shell to usj 18, i was stuck behind this Camry driving at 40km/h.. i knw la its a housing area, but still??? ur driving a 2.4l engine!!!
So anyways, got there, picked him up, and we went off to look for keith's place..
So the 3 of us drove straight to Monash..
went there, parked the car, picked up the phone n called karmern..
She arrived a bit later, before that, the 3 of us went to take a walk to check out the place...
The carnival at 3pm tat time was kinda dissapointing actually.. Booths not fully set up yet, stage still empty..
So when karmern came, we decided to go catch a movie at pyramid...
So i drove us to pyramid, us and a fren of karmern's..
Found the most peculiar parking spot ever.. took me so long to get the car straight.. thx to those guys who double park.. ish ish...
So in the end we watched The Forbidden Kingdom... Honestly speaking, if u guys watch chinese shows, the story line is totally screwed up!!! They took the journey to the west story n changed it like completely.. suddenly the jade emperor got himself a jade general.. who turns out to be evil... haha..
But the action was great.. expected ler.. 2 Js of the kung fu world in a movie..
So after the movie, karmern followed her fren to the carnival, while the 3 of us went for dinner coz we were starving...
Oh yah, by then i edi got my dad to lend me the car for the whole nite.. how lucky i was.. :P
So we had dinner at old town and head straight for the carnival...
Reached the carnival around 8 something.. Onli then i reli called it a carnival.. haha..
It was way bettter, although still a bit dissapointing..
We were 'amazed' with the battle of the bands..
1st band came out n did their rendition of a kylie minogue song!!! KYLIE MINOUGE!!! haha..
and for some reason, i can say almost 2/3 of the bands tat nite did an umbrella cover.. y???
honestly, none of them reli pulled it off though.. :P
the best band came out when we were in the line waiting for the haunted house.. Yea.. "haunted house"...
we kinda gave up on the bands... so we went looking for things to do...
they did an almost perfect cover of fall out boy's sugar we'r going down..
N i tell u, it was simply amazing!!! the band was flawless!!! it sounded exactly like the original...
So, the haunted house.. "haunted house"...
more like a haunted tent actually.. haha..
so we went in pairs.. keith went in with kay sim.. i went in with karmern...
it was so funny wei... funniest haunted house ever in my life!!! hahahaha..
the guy at the door said their 'ghosts' were inspired by movie characters, so we might see some familiar faces in there..
The 1st 'ghost' was a guy pulling our leg behind some curtain..
Which movie is tat from??? hahaha..
Honestly i didnt recognize any1 there.. onli thing i recognized was the buzzing tv playing nth at the end of a walkway.. tat oso it wasnt a movie character.. haha..
best part was this guy, he was supposed to scare us from behind..
he was dresses up in this long black cloak, with a scary looking mask...
he was like approaching us from behind... n at the perfect time, i turned back coz i felt something at my back..
and he just stood there... looking at me.. in the end he walked away... coz i spotted him edi..
hahahhaha.. it was soooooooooo funny wei...
moving on, there's this point where they put chairs n we had to crawl under them..
there was a guy who was supposed to scare us on top of those chairs..
so he jumped out... went "ahhhhh!!!" and all...
we were like.. "yea yea.,.." n we were like wondering which way to go..
so in the end, after 'scaring' us, that guy actually pointed us the way.. ahahhahhaha...
it was like... "ahhhh!!! no no no, this way.. "
at the start karmern was like freaking out.. hahaha.. ur not so tough after all..
but halfway thru the thing we were edi laughing out asses off!!! it was juz so funny..
1 by 1 the 'ghosts' act all tak jadi.. ahhahaha..
after the haunted house, we hanged out for a bit then we all head home..
had to fetch them all home.. good thing kaysim n karmern stayed in usj18... save 1 trip...
Too bad we couldnt stay late enough to catch dragon red.. it wud've been awesome..
Good thing i kept pushing to go for the event.. it was great..
What a small world it is... Wish i wouldnt feel this way..
Its not supposed to end up like this..
